This is one site that is difficult to visualize due to the ruins. The ruins of the Byzantine church and their depth cause one to realize the size of the location. However, to better visualize the place I recommend looking at the model of Jerusalem just north of the Temple Mount (see here).  Also at the location is a church called Church of Saint Anne (in honor of Mary’s mother).
