The Israel Museum is an important stop if for no other reason than for one to visualize first century Jerusalem. There is a model located here that was moved here a few years back. There are numerous photos of this model below. While at the museum there is the Shrine of the Book, a museum to the Dead Sea Scrolls. However, no photos were allowed in it.
