Following a visit to Caesarea Philippi we drove a very short distance to the Tel Dan Park. The water at this site is impressive all on its own. However, visiting the “sacred precinct” where Jeroboam constructed an altar brings out how important this site is. While we did not visit it on this trip located here is also an ancient gate.
