Sodom is the traditional area of the ancient cities destroyed by God. Tour guides often take delight in pointed to the human like rock on the mountain and saying that is “Lot’s wife.” The caves at Qumran are where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. These pictures were taken on January 2, 1999.
